Nature Trail at Karnala Bird Sanctuary

A Walk in Karnala Bird Sanctuary

On February 9th, 2025, Jungle Buddies Tours led an exciting nature trail through the renowned Karnala Bird Sanctuary. Our group of six nature enthusiasts explored the sanctuary’s lush trails, seeking out the diverse avian life that calls this place home.

The sanctuary’s dense greenery provided the perfect backdrop for observing and photographing birds in their natural environment. We were rewarded with various sightings, making it a truly memorable day.

We observed the Indian Paradise Flycatcher, the Brown-capped Pygmy Woodpecker, and the Malabar Whistling Thrush. The Orange-headed Thrush and Golden-fronted Leafbird added vibrant colours to our journey, and the White-rumped Munia rounded off our list of delightful sightings.

Our nature trail was more than just birdwatching. It was a refreshing escape into the heart of nature, where we enjoyed the sounds of the forest, the rustling of leaves, and the thrill of discovering wildlife.
