This was my first guided birding tour in India, and I was initially worried that we wouldn’t see much since May is a slow month for birding here, but the trip ended up going above and beyond my expectations! Milind is an extremely knowledgeable and very friendly guide who patiently took the time to answer all my questions and help me learn the differences between different bird species both through sounds and physical appearance. I especially appreciated his ability to clearly and methodically explain where the birds were located despite them being hidden among dense leaves and branches. Even my dad, who is not a birder but enjoys hiking and watching wildlife, had an awesome time and learned a few things along the way. Definitely hoping to come back for another tour with Jungle Buddies in the future!
