Forest Owlet Photography tour to Tansa Sanctuary- 8th Jan 2023

Jungle Buddies organized a private half-day birding tour to Tansa Wildlife Sanctuary on January 8th, 2023. We drove through scenic roads dotted with flowering Palash (flame of the forest) trees and spent time observing and photographing amazing birds going about their routines. The elusive Forest Owlet, Drongos, Treepies, Minivets, Woodshrikes, Sunbirds, and Flycatchers all made an appearance. The Desai family’s willingness to explore and walk the terrain without complaints helped us discover some new trails within the area. We even heard two individual Forest Owlets calling early in the morning. The tour concluded at 11:30 after taking group photos and selfies. Overall, it was a pleasant day in the forest.
