Jungle Buddies and Birds of Thane & Raigad District hosted a bird walk at Ganesh Ghat in Dombivli. As the winter approaches fast many migratory birds have arrived at their wintering grounds and a few passage migrants can still be seen en route to their journeys beyond our region. A variety of birds including Red/tri-coloured/ Scaly Breasted Munias, Bronze Winged Jacana, Blue Tailed Bee Eaters, Common Snipe, Sandpipers, Yellow Wagtails, Stonechats, Common Cuckoos, Shikra, Marsh Harriers and many other species were seen during the short span of 90 minutes of birding that we all enjoyed today.
