Target species expected : The evergreen patches of Murbad are home to Malabar endemics like Malaba Grey Hornbill, Malabar Parakeett, Malabar trogon and a huge array of migratory passerines spcies. As we move from eveergreen to decidous forest patches, we come species like Mottled wood owl, Indian Pitta, Jungle Owlet, Forest Owlet, Indian Scops Owl, Cinereous tit, Emerald Doves, Indian Peafowl, Red Spurfowl, Rufous Treepie and Racket-tailed Drongo can be sighted during bird watching across the forest trails.
